Last week, Locust Valley High School students took to the auditorium stage and showcased hilariously choreographed lip sync performances of showtunes and pop hits of today and yesteryear. Classmates, alumni, friends and family filled the room, cheering the performers and buying treats, drinks and raffle tickets to help fundraise for end-of-year activities for the Class of 2026.
Faculty members judged each group, naming members of the football team who dazzled their way through The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” to the delight of the audience. Congratulations also to the second- and third-place winners, who performed, respectively, “We Found Love” by Rihanna and “Dancing Queen” from “Mamma Mia!”
