The Locust Valley High School Garden Club teamed up with students in Ms. Jessica DiPardo’s Life Skills class to raffle off eight fig trees propagated from the three established fig trees in the high school garden.
Garden Club members grew the new trees, while students in Ms. DiPardo’s class helped collect raffle donations from high school and middle school staff.
The winners were announced on Oct. 16. Congratulations to Stephanie Scavelli, Barbara Compono, Olivia Allgier, Suzanne Busch, Nina Ring, Sergio Wiese, Cathy Craig and Adriana Marin!
The Garden Club, advised by Tina Hament, thanks everyone who participated and supported the raffle.
