Eighth graders at Locust Valley Middle School traveled through many Italian regions from the comfort of the mini-theater on Feb. 9. Each group created a trifold poster about their region, researched a famous regional dish and its history, built a diorama of a notable city and made a 3D model of a famous monument. While circulating, students answered questions, shared their research with visitors and sampled the local cuisines.
