This week, September 14-18, our elementary school students are learning about building positive relationships.
Children are participating in Start with Hello Week.
Start with Hello was a project created by the parents of Sandy Hook Elementary. The idea behind Start with Hello is to help promote social connectivity and inclusiveness by reducing social isolation.
As many of you know, young people who are socially isolated can become victims of depression, anxiety, bullying, and other related issues. The goal is to help all students feel supported, connected, and welcome.
Throughout the week we will be engaging in various activities that promote kindness and positivity by spreading the Start with Hello message: “See someone alone, reach out, and say hello.” As a Falcon community, we will be encouraging our staff and students to participate in a Start with Hello Spirit Week!
